LEVEL ONE
EBI operates on a tri-mester format, with each tri-mester averaging 27 hours of video
teaching and allowing 30 weeks for completion. In Level One a total of 94 hours is
presented on the following schedule.
FIRST TRI-MESTER
BASIC BIBLE
COMPREHENSION (101)
A concise yet thorough examination of what it means to be "rightly dividing the word
of truth" so that the Bible is properly handled. Failure to understand and employ
this basic command that God gave through the Apostle Paul is the main reason for so much
unsound Bible teaching. The distinctive ministry and message of the Apostle Paul, which is
the reason why the Bible must be "rightly divided," is examined in this course.
SHORT HISTORY OF
GODS PROGRAM WITH ISRAEL (l0l)
An examination of the outworking of Gods program and dealings with Israel, providing
a fundamental understanding of the Old Testament, the Gospels, Acts, and Hebrews through
the Revelation - the portion of the Bible directly pertaining to Israel's program.
SECOND TRI-MESTER
ROMANS SURVEY
(l0l)
The first of Pauls epistles - the portion of the Bible directly pertaining to
Gods program with us today. Romans sets for the doctrines that God has designed to
form the foundation of the edification of the body of Christ. The four cornerstones to
that foundation are surveyed in this course.
ACTS 1 - 7 (l0l)
The opening chapters of the book of Acts are commonly thought of as describing the
beginning of the dispensation of grace. The day of Pentecost often is cited as the
'birthday of the church.' That this is not so is abundantly apparent. Gods program
and dealings with Israel is still in effect at that time, as an examination of Acts 1 - 7
shows.
THIRD TRI-MESTER
ISRAEL'S GREAT
COMMISSION AND OURS (l0l)
Great differences exist between the Lords commissions to His disciples set forth in
the Gospels and Acts 1 - 7, and those that He has given to us in this dispensation through
the Apostle Paul. In this course the differences are examined, with special emphasis
placed upon understanding and appreciating our commissions today.
THE BIBLE: THE
PRESERVED WORD OF GOD (l0l)
Gods word has always been subjected to the attacks of the Adversary. These attacks
have taken many forms, but the principal aim has always been to produce doubt in the mind
of the one hearing Gods word and to cause the question to be asked, "Yea, hath
God said?" This course examines the issues pertaining to the Divine preservation of
the Bible so that a knowledgeable and confident response can be made to such attacks.
